John Apicella: has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 1975 John has been adjusting property claims since 1962. He was designated as a Senior Professional Public Adjuster, SPPA, by the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters in 1982. John has experience handling major claims throughout the United States and Caribbean, Including Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and all of the 2004 Florida Hurricanes. He is licensed in Connecticut, Florida, & New York. John resides in Orange, Connecticut and Hutchinson Island, Florida.
Mark served in the US Marine Corp before becoming a licensed Public Adjuster in 1985. Mark has worked on major claims throughout the United States, and Puerto Rico. Including Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and all of the 2004 Florida Hurricanes and CT Hurricanes Gloria, Irene 2011 & Sandy 2012. He has extensive experience appraising, estimating and adjusting commercial and homeowner claims. Most recently adjusting over 30 million dollars in Military Housing damages (see below). Mark is active in his community serving on the board of directors Milford Rotary Club, Orange Memorial Day parade committee, volunteer at Beth El homeless shelter and an active member of Connecticut Association of Public Adjusters . Mark is licensed in numerous States, he resides in Orange, Connecticut with his wife Maria
Maria has been a licensed public adjuster for 30 years. Maria has extensive experience in adjusting all types of claims, marketing and customer relations. Maria is active in her community serving as board member of the Orange Lions Club and Orange Chamber of Commerce, and an officer of Connecticut Association of Public Adjusters. She enjoys working with her husband Mark. Maria is licensed in Connecticut , Massachusetts and Florida. Maria is a graduate Syracuse University and lives in Orange, Connecticut
Elaine Apicella has been a licensed public adjuster since 1987. She handles clerical, technical & financial aspects of our company. She is a graduate of Rider College. Elaine is an avid golfer and actively involved with Closer to Free- Ride for Smilow Cancer Hospital Elaine resides in Branford, Connecticut.
Corey joined Apicella Adjusters full time in 2014 after graduating Roger Williams University Law School & Quinnipiac University undergrad. Corey has worked with Apicella Adjusters since 2010 as a building estimator. Corey follows in the footsteps of his father Michael C. Glynn (1958-2014) longtime public adjuster-associate and friend. Corey is actively involved in Closer to Free- ride for Smilow Cancer Hospital. Corey resides in Hamden, Connecticut
Megan Joined Apicella Adjusters in 2013, and was licensed since 2014. Megan is responsible for contents claim detailing and adjusting. She is a graduate of Southern CT State University and resides in Meriden, Connecticut.
David joined Apicella Adjusters full time in 2014 after graduating from Southern CT State University. David represents the third generation in the Apicella/Sandillo family. His responsibilities include marketing, inventory taking, field support and client and industry relations. David lives in Orange, Connecticut
Ken became a public adjuster representing all types of businesses nationally including Fortune 500 companies. A large-loss property claims veteran, Ken's career started as a company adjuster in 1979. He has helped thousands of property owners throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts settle their insurance claims and have peace of mind. In 1993 Ken became a public adjuster representing all types of businesses nationally including Fortune 500 companies. He has adjusted numerous catastrophe losses throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Most recently co-adjusting with Mark Sandillo over 30 million dollars in Military Housing damages. Ken operates Military Housing Adjusters- Torrington, CT & Western MA, and he lives in Burlington, Connecticut
Kyle is a former Travelers large loss adjuster. During his time with Travelers, Kyle has handled regional claims and was often dispatched nationally to coordinate large loss team representation. His experience gained with the Travelers makes him a foremost authority on business income loss along with commercial roof and building restoration. With his free time, Kyle enjoys hunting, boating and Big 10 Football. Kyle lives in Springfield, MA
Brian has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 2013. He has 10 years of experience with The Hartford and also Travelers Insurance. Brian’s work experience also includes time spent in the restoration and construction field. Claims involving water, fire, and mold are areas of expertise for Brian. In his free time Brian enjoys golf, fishing, baseball and following UConn Athletics. Brian lives in Southington, Connecticut
Bernard became licensed Public Adjuster in 1982. Prior to becoming a Public Adjuster he was an Independent Adjuster with Gordon Boyd & Co. (4 years), Dunn- Rite Construction Company, fire damage contractors (5 years), and Manager of the General Adjustment Bureau (GAB), Independent Insurance Adjusters (8 years). He is experienced as an appraiser, as well as an umpire for hundreds of cases. He has adjusted numerous catastrophe losses throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He is licensed in Connecticut and Florida. He is a graduate of the UCONN and lives in Rocky Hill, Connecticut
Michael Glynn passed away on June 24, 2014. Michael worked as a Public Adjuster for 19 years at Apicella Adjusters, specializing in commercial and homeowner building estimating. Prior to becoming a Public Adjuster he owned and operated a General Contracting Business specializing in Fire Restoration. Mike was a valuable part of our team from 1995-2014. Mike was highly admired for his stellar professionalism and outstanding dedication to his clients, family and friends. Mike was a native of Hamden, Connecticut, he is survived by his wife Mary and Children; Corey and Elisabeth.
