John Apicella: has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 1975 and has been adjusting property claims since 1962. He was designated as a Senior Professional Public Adjuster, SPPA, by the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters in 1982. John has experience handling major claims throughout the United States and Caribbean, Including Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and all of the 2004 Florida Hurricanes. He is licensed in Connecticut, Florida, & New York. (RETIRED)
Mark served in the US Marine Corp before becoming a licensed Public Adjuster in 1985. Mark has worked on major claims throughout the United States, and Puerto Rico. Including all major hurricanes in Florida and Connecticut. He has extensive experience estimating and adjusting commercial and homeowner claims. His experience includes handling multi- million dollar apartment and condominium claims , coordinating with property managers, board members and unit owners. In addition Mark has handled over 30 million dollars in Military Housing claims across the United States. (see below) Mark is a long time member of The Milford Rotary. Mark is licensed in Connecticut and Florida.
Maria Apicella SandilloMaria has been a licensed public adjuster since 1984. Maria has extensive experience in adjusting all types of claims, marketing and customer relations. Maria is active in her community serving Orange Chamber of Commerce, and the Connecticut Association of Public Adjusters. She enjoys working with her husband Mark. Maria is licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida.

Elaine Apicella has been a licensed public adjuster since 1987. She handles clerical, technical & financial aspects of our company. She is a graduate of Rider College. Elaine is an avid golfer and actively involved with Closer to Free- Ride for Smilow Cancer Hospital Elaine resides in Branford, Connecticut.
Corey joined Apicella Adjusters full time in 2014 after graduating Roger Williams University Law School & Quinnipiac University undergrad. Corey has worked with Apicella Adjusters since 2010 as a building estimator. Corey follows in the footsteps of his father Michael C. Glynn (1958-2014) longtime public adjuster-associate and friend. Corey is actively involved in Closer to Free- ride for Smilow Cancer Hospital. Corey resides in Hamden, Connecticut.
Michael Ruggiero is a former Liberty Mutual personal property specialist. Michael worked for more than 20 years with Liberty Mutual throughout the United States handling all kinds of personal property claims. Michael supervises all personal property inventories and evaluation. His knowledge and expertise gained at Liberty Mutual brings great value to claim preparation, negotiation and settlements. In his free time Michael enjoys fishing, clamming, Patriot Football and Red Sox Baseball.

Ken became a public adjuster representing all types of businesses nationally including Fortune 500 companies. A large-loss property claims veteran, Ken's career started as a company adjuster in 1979. He has helped thousands of property owners throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts settle their insurance claims and have peace of mind. In 1993 Ken became a public adjuster representing all types of businesses nationally including Fortune 500 companies. He has adjusted numerous catastrophe losses throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Most recently co-adjusting with Mark Sandillo over 30 million dollars in Military Housing damages.
Brian has been a licensed Public Adjuster since 2013. He has 10 years of experience with The Hartford and also Travelers Insurance. Brian.s work experience also includes time spent in the restoration and construction field. Claims involving water, fire, and mold are areas of expertise for Brian. In his free time Brian enjoys golf, fishing, baseball and following UConn Athletics. Brian lives in Southington, Connecticut.
Kyle is a former Travelers large loss adjuster. During his time with Travelers, Kyle has handled regional claims and was often dispatched nationally to coordinate large loss team representation. His experience gained with the Travelers makes him a foremost authority on business income loss along with commercial roof and building restoration. With his free time, Kyle enjoys hunting, boating and Big 10 Football. Kyle lives in Springfield, MA

Eric joins the MHA team in 2015 with experience in the insurance claims industry since 1998. He is a former insurance company claims manager and large loss adjuster. Eric is a Western Massachusetts native that has adjusted claims in the eastern United States. As a former claims manager Eric knows the ins and outs of both homeowner and commercial losses including hurricane and tornado damage. Eric also protects the community as a Law Enforcement Officer. His down time is filled with an active and musical family, always ready for a new adventure with them.

Bernard became licensed Public Adjuster in 1982. Prior to becoming a Public Adjuster he was an Independent Adjuster with Gordon Boyd & Co. (4 years), Dunn- Rite Construction Company, fire damage contractors (5 years), and Manager of the General Adjustment Bureau (GAB), Independent Insurance Adjusters (8 years). He is experienced as an appraiser, as well as an umpire for hundreds of cases. He has adjusted numerous catastrophe losses throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He is licensed in Connecticut and Florida. (RETIRED)

A long-time property management client hired Apicella Adjusters to adjust major claims at Military bases throughout the United States. Mark Sandillo and Ken Ursaki adjusted 30 million dollars in property claims for this client, including fire, windstorm & hail claims across the United States. They worked with military base mangers to oversee the entire claim adjustment to facilitated thorough claim processing and appropriate pay outs. From this Mark Sandillo and Ken Ursaki founded Military Housing Adjusters- a national company adjusting Military Housing claims. Military Housing Adjusters is operated locally by Ken Ursaki throughout CT and Western MA.
